A guided course of study and practice for servants of Jesus who want to minister with biblical confidence, pastoral care, and Spirit-led wisdom.
Healing and deliverance are not techniques to master, but ministries to receive—the fruit of Christ’s finished work applied by the Holy Spirit to a wounded and bound human heart.
Students learn to minister the way Jesus ministered: attentive to the person, dependent on the Spirit, and confident in the authority given to the Church.
Your formation pathway
Each course is completed in sequence, at your own pace, under the direction of an assigned supervisor. Each level concludes with a review before advancement.

Founder, Deep Healing Ministries of Atlanta
Dr. Gartrell leads students through a quiet, practical, and biblically grounded approach to inner healing and deliverance prayer. The program emphasizes the recipient’s dignity, dependence on the Holy Spirit, supervised practice, and the character of the minister.
“The goal is not to produce experts in demons. It is to produce servants of Jesus.”
A safe, pastoral practice
These commitments are binding at every level of the program.
What is shared in ministry remains protected, except where disclosure is required for safety or by law.
Every recipient may pause or stop a session at any time.
Sessions are conducted with a team of at least two; cross-gender ministry is never one-on-one.
No shouting, restraint, coercion, shaming, manipulation, or exhausting sessions.
Prayer ministry complements—but never replaces—medical or psychological care.
No outcome is promised, and no story is shared without explicit written permission.
A word on referral: If a recipient discloses active suicidal intent, ongoing abuse, or signs of a serious mental health crisis, the session pauses and appropriate professional or emergency care is engaged.
